Session 2: Culturally & Linguistically Responsive Lesson Planning & Observation Practices
The Coaching for Equity, Language, and Literary Program is designed for coaches dedicated to the mission of improving culturally and linguistically responsive pedagogy through a social justice education approach. Change agents for effective coaching for equity, language and literacy need a strong vision and mission statement for what this looks like in practice.
Session 2 Objectives:
- identify aspects of instructional design that are culturally and linguistically responsive
- explain how student-centered data leads to changes in educator mindset and practice
- apply classroom data through coaching to inform practice that impacts student ownership and rigor
