Session 3 – Equitable Assessment Practices & Measuring our Impact

The Coaching for Equity, Language, and Literary Program is designed for coaches dedicated to the mission of improving culturally and linguistically responsive pedagogy through a social justice education approach. Change agents for effective coaching for equity, language and literacy need a strong vision and mission statement for what this looks like in practice.

Session 3 Objectives:

  • identify trends and patterns in your coaching data that show your impact on equity-based mindset shifts and language and literacy practices
  • explain techniques for ensuring ongoing diagnostics, feedback and progress monitoring and how to integrate changes in educator practice that honors students diversity
  • apply protocols and strategies for anti-bias, multicultural schooling through coaching and inquiry as a habit of mind

*This is a 3-part series. Unlike our other series, you MUST attend all 3 events. Part 1 is on 10/25/18 and Part 2 is on 01/25/19
