In this webinar, participants will learn how to make sense of the NYSESLAT scores of their ELLs/MLLs as they are reported in SIRS and ATS. We will cover legal mandates and best practices as they pertain to parent notification, language access, accommodations, programming, and instruction.
By attending this session, attendees will leave with…
- an understanding of the federal and state regulations as they relate to ELL/MLL testing
- knowledge of how to read both the raw and converted NYSESLAT scores by subtest
- resources to support classroom teachers in meeting the needs of ELLs/MLLs
**Note that this event is part of the ELL/MLL Compliance & Assessment (ECA) strand. Member schools receive a set amount of ECA seats based on their membership with The Collaborative for Inclusive Education.
