Developing an Anti-Bias Culture in the Classroom and Beyond

March 12 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

- $325.00

An inclusive, anti-bias culture creates the conditions for culturally and linguistically diverse students, families, and staff to be their authentic selves and thrive as members of the school community. In addition to exploring foundational concepts such as inclusivity, implicit bias, and stereotyping, this session will offer participants an opportunity to investigate the possibilities for confronting the infiltration of bias and misconception within schools and addressing inequities that can result. Participants will leave the session with a set of tools for changing individual mindset and creating a community devoted to combatting injustice.
