This series* is designed for 4th-12th grade teachers or school leaders who are currently teaching or coaching ELA. There is built in work time, so attendees should bring an upcoming unit plan and related materials. By attending this series, attendees will leave with strategies to effectively differentiate by content, process, and product to support struggling readers and writers.
This first session focuses on ways to differentiate content in the ELA classroom. From the text itself to the amount of text or questions, there are many considerations when determining the most effective way to differentiate content to meet the needs of your learners. Come to this interactive session to learn strategies and apply them to an upcoming unit or lesson for speedy implementation of lessons learned.
