Part 1 of this two-part series* is designed for 4th-12th grade teachers or school leaders who are currently teaching or coaching literature in a setting where a whole class novel is being used. Attendees should bring an upcoming unit plan in which a whole class will engage in the same novel to work on revising during the session, the novel which they’re studying, as well as a lesson plan from that unit.
By attending this session, attendees will leave with…
-Strategies to effectively differentiate a literature classroom in order to support struggling readers
-Strategies for supporting comprehension, fluency, and response to reading
Facilitator: Anna Reeve
*Note: Collaborative members will use only ONE Trainings/Workshops seat to attend this two-part series.
