In this two-part series* on Confianza’s “Task Makeover Protocol,” participants will learn about providing language supports that benefit ALL students, designing instruction to provide access to complex texts and academic discussion for MLLs/ELLs, and implementing the Task Makeover Protocol for intentional linguistic planning, teaching, and assessing.
In Part 2, we will:
- Reflect on implementation of lessons learned from Part 1
- Explore High Standards, High Impact
- Reflect on the planning-teaching-assessing process and the different tiers of student needs in
your classroom, including how choice plays a role in classroom differentiation with diverse
learners
- Plan next steps for success
