In part two of this two-part series*, we will discuss how to apply the best-practice strategies reviewed in Part 1 when providing live and remote instruction to learners who present with more significant impairments related to autism spectrum disorder (e.g., learners with limited to no vocal speech, learners who engage in high rates of interfering behaviors). This session will be discussion-based and participants should come prepared with questions.
By attending this session, attendees will leave with…
– A better understanding of how to apply the strategies outlined in Part 1 with learners who present with more profound impairments.
– Individualized feedback.
