In this session, we will develop skills to better notice, understand and respond to our own triggers and reactivity. We will explore how mindfulness can be used as a powerful tool to build connection and respond to the emotional states of others and ourselves. We will also discuss mindfulness and self-compassion can enhance the culture of a classroom.
From this session, you will leave with concrete ways on how to incorporate mindfulness strategies to in your daily life and with students. You will also have a greater understanding of your own personal triggers, and how to attend to your emotional needs in the moment despite all the external demands.
