How Principals and Network/District Leaders Can Turn Data into Action

December 7 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Collecting, reviewing, and understanding data represents the best, most reliable way to identify what students retain from their learning and how to provide instruction and support to get them where they need to be. In this virtual session, Opal Dawson from ASCD will provide engaging, research-based professional learning on evaluating data and applying data analytics results to guide instruction.

This learning opportunity is specifically designed for Principals, Executive Directors, Network Instructional Staff, and District Leaders, who oversee school-wide or network-wide data outcomes for students. In this session, participants will use existing data to reflect on the past semester, and leave with tools and next steps to drive student achievement as they prepare for the second half of the school year.

Note: Please bring a school-wide data set, including but not limited to NWEA MAP data, iReady assessment data, STEP/GR data, informal/qualitative notes, a sample of internal classroom assessments or exit tickets, etc.
