Educators will work to identify the bias and its consequences in their classroom. Participants will learn to implement strategies to reduce identity-based outcomes by examining the characteristics of whiteness to find the unspoken “rules” or “norms” currently alive in their classroom.
By attending this session, attendees will leave with a process to evaluate their classroom management procedures and grading policies.
