UDL in Practice: Practitioner to Practitioner (Part 1)

January 17 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

***This workshop is part of a Professional Learning Cohort (PLC). You will automatically be registered for PART 2 on 2/13/19. You must attend both sessions.

In this session, participants will gain a deeper understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and hear about the evolution of practice within this framework. Additionally, attendees will observe classrooms that use this model and speak to a number of practitioners about their approach. Participants will be encouraged to consider the implications for their own practice.

By attending this workshop, participants will have a chance to observe classrooms and ask questions. Focus will be on teaching and learning in a diverse classroom setting and how teachers have increased access for students within the general curriculum
