Reading texts is central to learning content and tied to academic success. However, comprehending texts can be difficult for a number of reasons. Fortunately, there are things we can do to make a text more accessible to multilingual learners. In this interactive session, Tan will share how to engineer a text to make it more accessible and how to work with alternative texts when students still struggle with reading an engineered text.
