If you have questions about how to incorporate movement in your classroom to support the curriculum, then this session is for you! This workshop is designed to develop participants’ understanding of the ways movement supports learning and students’ self-regulation. We will specifically hone in on the “just right” state of regulation for learning and explore movement activities that support concepts in the curriculum to enhance success for all students.
Participants will be able to:
- Identify the “just right” state of regulation for learning.
-Become familiar with a variety of movement activities to obtain a “just right” state of regulation for a broad range of individual needs.
-Perform a movement activity that supports readiness for learning.
