Navigating the various legal mandates associated with enrollment and identification can be overwhelming. In Part 1 of this two-part MLL/ELL Boot Camp series*, we will deep dive into national and local regulations and best practices associated with MLL/ELL enrollment and identification process, including the administration and scoring of the official New York State Identification Test for English Language Learners (NYSITELL). Participants will leave this session being able to articulate their next steps for ensuring compliance with MLL/ELL laws and MLL/ELL identification procedures.
