Reframing Behavior: Respond to Students’ Misbehavior & Disengagement (Part 2)

October 20 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Before applying strategies to change unwanted behavior and disengagement, we must first correctly diagnose why the behaviors are occurring. Without understanding the why, then most strategies will ultimately fail. In part two of this three-part series*, learn to diagnose and understand the six main reasons why students disengage and misbehave.  Discover how to apply the correct strategies for each student to address individual needs. If you want kids to show up to your online or in-person class, then you will want to hear Brian’s number one strategy to get maximum participation.

In this highly interactive, “slide-light” session, walk away with:

– The ability to identify the six reasons why kids misbehave
– Best strategies to combat each reason why kids misbehave

Presenter: Brian Mendler

*Note that Collaborative members will use only ONE Trainings & Workshops (TW) seat to attend this three-part series.
