Remote Literacy: Using Metacognitive Comments to Grow Student Writing (Part 2)

April 8 @ 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm

While we cannot replace an in person writing conference with students, in this workshop we will discuss strategies for using metacognitive comments to push student writing in both synchronous and asynchronous settings.  This interactive session will model a simulation lesson for teaching students how to become more metacognitive throughout the writing process and how teachers can give feedback to support this critical reflection process.

By attending this session, attendees will leave with an ability to support student reflection and revision in their writing through the use of metacognitive comments.

Note: Collaborative members will only use ONE (1) Trainings & Workshops seat to attend this two-part series.
