Supportive Space for Educators of Color: A People of Color Affinity Group

May 4 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

This group will be an informal supportive space for educators of color to build community and strengthen their self-advocacy tools and anti-racist pedagogy. We will engage in dialogue about racism, oppression, and its impact on educators of color, students and the communities in which we work. We will also discuss best practices for self-care, self-advocacy, and practicing anti-racist pedagogy and anti-racist dialogue within school spaces. This group is ongoing, and welcomes new participants to drop-in.

Presenter: Michelle Grier
