Each day, teachers use the information they collect from their students to make decisions about curriculum, learning, and next steps. This workshop will explore the connections between executive functions and literacy skills. By attending this session, participants will: understand executive functions and how they impact literacy objectives, identify and plan for hidden demands in the curriculum, and incorporate routines to differentiate and increase the accessibility of their K-5 curriculum.
By attending this interactive* session, attendees will leave with another lens to use when analyzing student work and developing meaningful learning experiences.
