In this interactive IN-PERSON workshop, math leads and special education leads will come together to learn how to best support students with disabilities in the secondary math classroom. We’ll explore key look fors in lesson planning and instruction and ideas on how to address both the mindsets AND skillsets of staff to better promote equity in their math classrooms. It is highly encouraged for your school’s math supervisor and special education supervisor to attend this session TOGETHER so they can maximize reflection time to ensure staff are receiving the same messaging and support from both leads.
