Our Work

We focus on empowering NYC charter schools to develop high quality inclusive educational environments by providing professional development opportunities, resources, school-based guidance and access to local and national best practices and renowned special populations experts.

Virtual Supports

Member schools have access to our team’s expertise via technical assistance, compliance and resource alerts, digital newsletters, and citywide virtual Communities of Practice. Our online PD on Demand and resource libraries offer member schools research-based supports to improve their inclusive practices.

Jobs Board

Need to fill a crucial role at your school or looking to continue your career in the NYC charter sector? Dozens of highly-qualified applicants visit our Jobs Board daily.

Professional Development

The Collaborative hosts more than 100 online and in-person professional development opportunities each school year on high leverage topics in inclusive education – ranging from workshops to panel discussions to multi-day conferences.

School-Based Consulting

Our team of dedicated special populations experts conducts school-based consulting with member schools. Through instructional observations, program audits, resource deep dives, and strategic planning, we help schools move toward achieving more inclusive and equitable environments.

Advocacy

We advocate for laws, policies, and practices to ensure special education and MLL/ELL accountability and reform at City and state levels.
