Our roundtable discussions bring together practitioners from across the charter sector to share best practices and surface common problems (and brainstorm solutions!) on different special populations topics. These sessions are HIGHLY INTERACTIVE and learning will largely be driven by what the participants bring ready to discuss and share. Based on the discussion, more targeted follow up learning may be organized.
In this roundtable discussion, we will bring educators together to share sensory supports worth implementing in K-12 and beyond! The Collaborative will start by sharing some tried-and-true sensory supports implemented within the field, and move to a facilitated discussion around new considerations in sensory supports, specifically with noise and/or auditory sensitivities, anxiety reduction, and technological advancements and opportunities. Come ready to be “camera and mic on” to share your own experiences with sensory supports, as well as bring questions to fellow practitioners.
