With an influx of MLL/ELLs, schools are looking for the best ways to support these students in core content classes. Data collection and background knowledge of students is essential for schools to determine individual needs and ways to reach them. Come join leaders from FLACS as they share how their schools bring principles of data-driven instruction to their MLL/ELL population. By the end of this session, participants will have a data analysis tool and instructional resources for how to support ENL students in grades 6-12.
By attending this session, participants will:
- Explore how to complete a data analysis on MLL/ELLs (often using data they already have!)
- Establish criteria for data collection in their own context
- Analyze individual student needs
