Navigating the initial IEP process can be overwhelming for staff, students, and families alike. Make sure you’re starting off on the right foot in this two-part series* with INCLUDEnyc.
In Part 2, participants will be able to:
- Explain how initial IEP development builds from a clear Present Levels of Performance section that then informs decisions about appropriate Annual Goals, Special Education Programs and Service recommendations, and access to the Least Restrictive Environment
- Identify key points to share with families about how IEPs are developed
- Identify strategies to partner with families to understand an implemented IEP and how to monitor student progress collaboratively
Facilitator: Colin Montgomery (INCLUDEnyc)
Note: Collaborative members will use ONE TW: Trainings & Workshops seat to attend this two-part series.
