In this hybrid series*, we’re partnering with CAST to support teachers in lesson planning that promotes student access and engagement. This two-day, hybrid event will provide teachers an overview of UDL, as well as a deep dive into looking at student work to help inform lesson planning.
In this in-person afternoon session on Lesson Planning and Analyzing Student Work, we will explore how examining student work can inform instructional decisions and enhance the effectiveness of lesson planning. Participants will develop the skills and mindset to use student work as a valuable tool for ongoing assessment and instructional improvement.
During the workshop, we will delve into the process of analyzing student work, understanding its strengths and areas for growth, and leveraging this knowledge to tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. We will explore practical strategies and tools that enable educators to thoughtfully plan and adapt lessons based on student feedback and evidence of learning.
