In this hybrid series*, we’re partnering with CAST to support teachers in lesson planning that promotes student access and engagement. This two-day, hybrid event will provide teachers an overview of UDL, as well as a deep dive into looking at student work to help inform lesson planning.
In this in-person morning session, we’ll explore how designing instruction for deep engagement, rather than surface-level compliant engagement, can foster meaningful and inclusive learning experiences for all students. Throughout this interactive workshop, educators will learn practical strategies to create lessons that both authentically engage students AND cater to their diverse needs.
Presenter: Kasia Derbiszewska
*Note: Collaborative members will use only ONE Trainings/Workshops seat to attend this series.
