This session will draw on the principles of CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention to learn and practice strategies that can be used in the classroom to de-escalate behavior. This is therefore ONLY available to teachers working at Enhanced or Premier Collaborative member schools participating in our Spring 2024 CPI NCI sessions. This session will focus on the NCI Verbal De-escalation continuum to give teachers the tools to respond to challenging behaviors in the moment. This session will use CPI principles but does not end with CPI certification.
